Founded by the Spanish fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga over a century ago, Balenciaga was originally known for its sculptural, impeccably-constructed couture. Its current creative director, Vetements’ founder Demna Gvasalia, has brought a streetwear-inspired, disruptive energy to the house.
